develop in early 1998-an by fomer ADUN Balingian YB Ajis Abdul Majid before he retied from the politic arena. today, Mukah Newtownship is like a center of Mukah that place, Maybank Bhd, Public Bank Berhad and others economic companies. the only hotel that located in Mukah Newtownship is Sardina Hotel opposite to Jabatan Pengakutan Jalan Mukah. the big mart are Ngiu Kee, Old and new Chai Guan mini market. the PBB,SEBERKAS, Majlis Amanah Rakyat(MARA) and TEKUN are also place in Mukah Newtownship. Tabung Haji and Baitumal cawangan Mukah also located here. the Mukah first fast food restaurant is Sugar Bun that sited next to Ngiu Kee Super market.
